Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.

The stars all twinkled and cheered with delight,
As the cow soared high in the night.
The moon gave a wink and lit up the sky,
While the cat played a tune nearby.

The dish and the spoon danced round the floor,
Spinning and twirling, who could ask for more?
The little dog barked, "What a wonderful sight!"
As they pranced and played through the night.

When morning had come and the fun was done,
The cow returned with the rising sun.
The cat and the dog gave a final cheer,
Saying, "Let’s do it again next year!"
