The Dragon Gate
A long time ago, there was a mighty river called the Yellow River, and in this river lived a school of fish, including a brave and determined carp. The carp was different from the others. He had a dream that one day he would swim upstream and leap over a great waterfall to reach the top of the Dragon Gate. This gate was said to be a magical place where any fish that could leap over it would be transformed into a powerful dragon.
For many years, the carp worked tirelessly, swimming against the strong currents of the river, trying to reach the waterfall. The other fish laughed at him and said, "You are just a small carp! The waterfall is too high, and you will never make it. Why not give up?"
But the carp refused to listen. He was determined, and no matter how difficult the journey became, he never gave up. He believed that if he could reach the Dragon Gate, he would be able to transform into something greater, just as the legend promised.
Finally, after many months of effort, the carp reached the base of the great waterfall. It was tall and steep, and the waters surged powerfully. With all his strength, the carp leaped toward the top, struggling against the rushing water.
For a long moment, it seemed impossible, but with one final, mighty push, the carp soared higher and higher—until, with a burst of energy, he jumped over the Dragon Gate and into the sky!
As soon as the carp crossed the gate, something amazing happened. His body transformed, and he became a magnificent dragon, soaring through the clouds. His determination and perseverance had been rewarded, and he now had the power of a dragon.
The tale of the carp who became a dragon teaches an important lesson: no matter how difficult life may seem, persistence and hard work can lead to great rewards. If you never give up on your dreams, you can achieve things that others may think are impossible.
