Rock-a-Bye, Baby

Rock-a-bye, baby, on the treetop,
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.

Here are some additional verses to sing to your loved one.

Baby is drowsing, cozy and fair,
Mother sits near in her rocking chair,
Forward and back, the cradle she swings,
Though baby sleeps, he hears what she sings.

Baby is sleeping, safe in the tree,
Wind blowing softly, gentle as can be,
Rocking and swaying, up in the sky,
Close to the stars, as the night passes by.

Hush-a-bye, baby, don’t make a sound,
Mother is near, you’ll be you safe and sound,
Cradle is swaying, the moonlight is bright,
Dreams are for baby, goodnight, sleep tight.
