Itsy Bitsy Spider (Incy Wincy Spider)

The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the garden wall.
Along came the wind and made the spider fall.
Out came the stars to light the darkened sky,
And the itsy bitsy spider gave it one more try.

Traditionally a short and sweet nursery rhyme. Here are some additional verses to sing to your loved one…

The itsy bitsy spider spun a silky thread,
She worked and she worked and she built a cozy bed.
The moon watched over her as she began to sleep,
And the itsy bitsy spider dreamed of climbing steep.

The itsy bitsy spider woke up with the dawn,
She stretched her legs and stifled a yawn.
Up went the sun, shining bright and warm,
And the itsy bitsy spider danced right through the storm.

The itsy bitsy spider found a brand-new trail,
She climbed a tree and swayed within the gale.
With courage and patience, she reached the highest bough,
And the itsy bitsy spider is the tallest climber now!
